Eldy Martinez

The skills i acquired while doing a comparison presentation on the difference in health care between the United States and Portugal was the understanding of a Southern European Country and their health care system. I learned that this country has National Health Service, which is a type of insurance where patients get to elect the type of provider they would like for their well-being.

As for my presentation on Sex and Disabled, taught me to have empathy towards those who struggle with physical limitations. This assignment taught me to encompass awareness towards those who have either a visual, mental, or physical disability. By presenting this information it encouraged me to be able to create a workshop where as a Health Educator I may educate those who fall into this population.

Finally for my building skills i was to make a presentation on my finding s on Hypertension. I gained data skills, such as communicative ways to approach an individual, examination and recording important information that can be useful in the future.
